The Fabric Boutique is a well-loved local fabric shop in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, selling both in-store and online. With over 1,000 products on their WooCommerce store, performance had become a real problem, slow load times were costing them customers, and a fragile plugin setup meant their team was constantly firefighting rather than selling.


Their WordPress site had hit a ceiling. Poor page speeds were directly impacting customer retention and conversion. The integration between their online store and in-store POS also required constant maintenance, plugins breaking, updates failing, and bugs eroding confidence in the platform. It wasn't sustainable.

What we did

Full migration to Shopify, new design, unified POS, built to last.

Kangaroo UK rebuilt the entire website on Shopify, migrating all 1,000+ products and unifying their online store and physical retail under one roof using Shopify POS. The design was completely overhauled with a fresh look, cleaner navigation, and a smoother buying journey. A standout addition was custom fabric ordering functionality, allowing customers to order in 0.1 metre increments, essential for a fabric retailer and something their old platform simply couldn't handle.
